December 2018-February 2019

December was quite interesting. Skelita and Jack ended up having a date under the Christmas tree,

which culminated in them lying on the tree skirt and looking up at the lights, the way couples stargaze in the summer.

Skelita’s date dress and necklace are from Ever After High Legacy Day Cerise.

Here’s a collage of my Disney crew (I include Mavis because Disney Channel was the US distributor for the Hotel Transylvania TV series and Anastasia because of the Fox/Disney merger) at the time (more to come in later posts) posing in front of a Disney Princess-wrapped gift in their Christmas finery

and a closeup of the hairstyle Rapunzel chose to go with her dress.

While I was browsing TheDollBoy’s YouTube channel, she saw this Ariana Grande-inspired double braid on his custom Rapunzel reroot with 40-inch hair, fell in love with the style, and wanted me to recreate it on her roughly foot-long hair as best I could.

For Christmas I got the Disney Store Anna Coronation Day and Mulan Tea Ceremony sets,

a couple Dollar Tree fashion doll outfits you’ll probably end up seeing on this blog, and several pieces from the ColourPop x Disney Designer Premiere collection: Belle, Jasmine, and Snow White Creme Lux lipsticks; Under the Sea, Be Our Guest, and A Whole New World Super Shock shadows; and A Smile and a Song Super Shock highlighter.

In February I bought these Funville Sparkle Girlz outfits. You’ve already seen the red-and-zebra dress on Anastasia, and the third one (one-sleeved pink open-weave sweater and tribal-print miniskirt) ended up on Esmeralda. It looked quite good on her, but the sweater was an absolute pain to get her into. I may get her back into it sometime and take a picture, but it won’t happen for a while.
